My Iron Phi Story
Welcome to My Personal Iron Phi Page
After the devastation of the Camp Fire, I wanted my event to take on two purposes:
One, to assist the many brave individuals who fight ALS every day, and to honor those who have already fought, like my brother Lou Gehrig. #livelikelou
Two, to run to and witness the site of the biggest devastation from the Camp Fire. I will be running from Chico to Paradise. Upon completing my journey for ALS victims I wanted to pay my respects to the city and its people. #buttestrong
Not only am I doing this for these two reasons, but I also want to give myself a challenge and a goal to prove to myself and anyone that with enough tenacity you'd be surprised with what you are capable of.
My route from Chico to Paradise is roughly 21 miles and will take me anywhere between 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 hours to complete! I will be ready no matter what!
I've set my personal goal at $1,000. However, if I can make it to just a little over $1,100 then my entire chapter reaches it's $10,000 goal for Iron Phi.

How Does My Donation Make a Difference?
Your donation towards an Iron Phi athlete equally supports two very important things: Supporting ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) through research and support of ALS families and leadership development for undergraduate members of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.
At the end of each year calendar year, the LiveLikeLou Foundation grants dollars raised through Iron Phi to fund its initiatives that support ALS research, scholarships to support the higher education goals of ALS dependents, and summer camp experiences for children who have a parent or grandparent with ALS.
Dollars used for undergraduate leadership development have and continue to help Phi Delta Theta educate more of its undergraduate members as they work to “Become the Greatest Version of Themselves.”
