Our Iron Phi Story

Iron Phi

Pennsylvania Pi - Robert Morris University

Hello there and welcome to our Iron Phi team page!!

We Phi Delts have a special saying within our organization - "We enjoy life by the help and society of others."  This is our open motto and it explains our Chapter's desire to help others.

How do we help others? With a mission to strengthen Phi Delta Theta and the impact that it has on the fight against Lou Gehrig's disease through fundraising and athletic efforts.

All of us listed below have made a commitment to becoming Iron Phis.

How do you become an "Iron Phi"? First we have selected an athletic endeavor that we'd like to accomplish. Second, we must raise over $1,000 for The ALS Association and the Phi Delta Theta Foundation.

We each know it won't be easy, but we highly are motivated to help ALS patients us who have been stricken with this crippling disease.

We would encourage and greatly appreciate it if you do one of two things on our page: Help one of our team members reach the $1,000 fundraising level by making a donation on their individual page OR by joining the team!!

Our Chapter will be competing against Phis from more than 225 campuses where Phi Delta Theta Fraternity has had chapters since 1848.  You can track our progress by revisiting this page.

We can't thank you enough for your support, and we greatly appreciate your generosity in helping us achieve our goals to become Iron Phis.

Thank you,

The members of Phi Delta Theta at Robert Morris Univesity.

How Does My Donation Make a Difference?

Your donation towards an Iron Phi athlete equally supports two very important things: Supporting ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) through research and support of ALS families and leadership development for undergraduate members of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.

At the end of each year calendar year, the LiveLikeLou Foundation grants dollars raised through Iron Phi to fund its initiatives that support ALS research, scholarships to support the higher education goals of ALS dependents, and summer camp experiences for children who have a parent or grandparent with ALS.

Dollars used for undergraduate leadership development have and continue to help Phi Delta Theta educate more of its undergraduate members as they work to “Become the Greatest Version of Themselves.”
